People with dry skin suffer from the chapped lips problem more often than other, but believe it or not, but licking your lips too often makes them dry and chapped as well. You can always cure them using some herbal or kitchen ingredients that can be easily found at home.

1. Aloe Vera
Take a fresh aloe leaf and squeeze out its gels in an airtight container. Now take ½ a teaspoon of honey and add it to the aloe vera gel and mix them well together. Use a small amount to apply on your lips every night and store the remaining in the refrigerator.

2. Vanilla
This moisturizer-cum-lip scrub will leave you with soft and luscious lips in just a few minutes, after every scrub. All you need to do is take ½ teaspoon of coconut oil, 1.2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of sugar and a few drops of vanilla extract and mix them well together. Use a small amount of this mixture to scrub on your lips and then wash off after a few minutes. Store the remaining mixture into an air-tight container and refrigerate it.
3. Honey & Sugar
Take 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of sugar and make a scrub out of their mixture. Use it to scrub your chapped lips for at least 2 minutes and then wash it off with plain water. The scrubbing will remove the dead skin cells and also promote healthy cell regeneration.

4. Frozen Coconut Oil
Freeze your coconut oil in an air-tight container and then use it every day in the morning and at night before bed, to get luscious lips throughout the day. If you feel the need, you can add a few drops of essential oil of your choice.
5. Rose Petals & Milk
Crush and grind a few rose petals and then add 1 teaspoon of full-fat milk in it to form a paste. Apply this mixture on your lips and then leave it on for at least 10 minutes. Wash off with plain water and get soft and moisturized lips in just a few minutes. Do not forget to apply petroleum jelly at last.
6. Heavy Cream

7. Baking Soda
Make a thick paste by mixing a few drops of water in 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Now take a spare or old toothbrush and moist it. Then, dip it into the baking soda and water paste. Massage it in a circular motion, onto your chapped lips, to make soft and moisturized. Baking soda will help the dead skin cells to get removed from your lips and will also speed up the recovery process.
