The first ever Pakistan Fashion Design Council [PFDC] and the world’s primary beauty brand, L’Oreal Paris, presented the final day of the third consecutive PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2013 . It’s a platform to encourage style, beauty, tradition, fashion and makeup trends and to highlight the Pakistani bridal fashion across the globe and to celebrate the bridal fashion amongst the fashionistas.
The PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2013 brought on floor almost 17 top designers that enthusiastically showcased flourishing fashion business in the Pakistani fashion industry, held at Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore. The last of the bridal week includes various exceptional designers with their exclusive- premium bridal range.Followed by lots of late evening openings by designers like Zara Shah Jahan, SAAI by Sahar Atif and Nomi Ansari showcased their designer range on the ramp during the designers show, afterwards the “Bridal Showcase” were imminently brought on ramp by Asifa and nabeel.
The whole bridal range was inspired by Indian maharajas and maharanies dressing style and was the true representation of the subcontinent attire, the clothes were fully embellished with the gem stones, artefacts, sculptures and so forth with models ornamented beautifully added a lot of creativity and buzz to the whole outfit. The traditional Muglia theme clearly portrays the artistic aptitude of the designers and complete contemplation of the artisans of that era is made to bring the concept aesthetically on fabric.
The bridal collection was an endeavor in representing the traditional dressing stylishness in a modern way to boost deluxe lifestyle with its contemporary cuts, dynamic pastel and dark shades of black, orange , mehroon, grey and fawn. The male dresses were included Sharvani and fitted churdar. Overall, the royalty observed in style, rich fabric, motifs, gem stones and embellishments were infused greatly with hammering and gota. Q lots with velvet borders covered with embroidery of tulah and dupka, angrakha style with choordi dar and long net dubattas with shettal laces and banarsi pati.
