The 60th Filmfare Awards were held on Saturday in Mumbai to honor the best films of 2014 from the Hindi-language film industry at the Yash Raj Studio. Fawad Khan is a first Pakistani actor who won the prestigious Filmfare award in the Best Male Debut category for Khoobsorat. Fawad received the award from Sonam Kapoor and Jhataleka Malhotra.
While receiving the award Fawad thanked Anil Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor (Producer), his co-star Sonam Kapoor, Disney Productions and the entire team of Khoobsurat. The actor also spoke about his experience of working in Bollywood and especially working on the project.
There were many other tough actors were nominated. The names included Tahir Raj Bhasin (Mardaani), Tiger Shroff (Heropanti), Sharib Hashimi (Filmistaan) and Freddy Daruwala (Holiday).

In the field of Music 2 legendary star bagged the awards before aswell. The late Nazia Hassan who was awarded the Black Lady in 1981 for her song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ in the category ‘Best Female Playback Singer’.and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan won this award from Pakistan but no other actor has won it till now.

On the award ceremony Fawad wore a grey Dior suit with a pin striped waist coat. He was simply looking like a royal prince and has maintained his signature look. Her wife also accompanied her at the award function.
To complete his royal look that he is famous for. His wife also accompanied him on the red carpet. The Best Film Award given to Queen. The other nominations were Haider, Mardaani, Jal, Ugly and PK.
