Is there mayhem in Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson’s love island? The Suicide Squad star has been dating the Pretty Little Liars star for almost a year and a half now. The couple confirmed their relationship status earlier this summer and they have packed in some adorable PDA a couple of times. However, a new tweet from Cara’s Twitter account raised eyebrows. As per the now-deleted tweet, the couple has decided to call it quits. “Me and Ashley broke up,” Delevingne’s Twitter account posted.
The tweet was on the social media platform for almost 20 minutes before it was pulled down. Ashley did not echo the same emotion on her social media profile. While it was a cause of concern, Just Jared reports that the actresses might have not broken up. Instead, it could be the hand of a hacker. The actress’s account posted some questionable tweets, including fake iPhone giveaway and a link requesting for donations to for a Venmo page. Apart from claiming that the couple has broken up, the Twitter account also posted, “I think I’m turning straight.”
All the tweets were deleted soon after and it seems like Cara has regained access to her Twitter account. However, she is yet to clear the air on the breakup rumours. As per recent spottings, Cara and Ashley appear to be going strong. Cara recently made the headlines for gushing over her girlfriend’s sensual Instagram post. The model and actress dropped wrote “my (heart emoji).”
