The 49th birthday of iconic Pakistani pop singer, Nazia Hassan was observed on Thursday. The pop singer, who was shot to fame after she sang a song for the Indian movie `Qurbani’ at the age of 15, had her talent recognized across the whole South Asia. ‘Aap Jaisa Koi Meri Zindagi’ a song she sang for the Indian earned her a Filmfare award thus paving her way for the debut album, Disco Deewane.
The beauty of 80s was born on April 3, 1965. Both brother- sister produced some of the biggest hits including “Ankhen Milane Wale” and “Dum Dum Dede”. She was also a political analyst along with being a remarkable singer. Unfortunately, the gorgeous passed away in 2000 after losing a battle with cancer. She however remains a celebrity in the hearts of the 80s’ generation and lives on in the heart of her fans.
