Steve Jobs an Inspiring Mentor

Steve Job’s did not only lead a company he led the world of technology. When the Microsoft Empire was what the world knew Steve helped create Apple. It was one of the earliest personal computers company. Steve had an exquisite sense of product design. He always had the intuition of what people wanted and it is because of him that the world is at our fingertips today. But what made Steve so successful and a mentor to thousands of people around the globe were his leadership qualities and salesmanship skills.

The design team of Steve’s is phenomenal the products are elegant and yet the best to function. His vision was incredible the invention of iPod was how Steve had targeted the youth and no doubt almost every teenager owns an apple product. Steve’s vision was to create his products for the masses.  Mac book is another gadget that people envy all around the world. Mac operating system is a gift for people who have to edit videos, packages and photographs. Steve has brought a new dimension to the animation industry. These products are the sleekest operating gadgets.

Job was also a fan of The Beatles. When he was asked about his business model on a TV show he replied:“My model for business is The Beatles: They were four guys that kept each other’s negative tendencies in check; they balanced each other. And the total was greater than the sum of the parts. Great things in business are not done by one person; they are done by a team of people.

Steve Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple in August 2011. The moment he had announced his resignation Apple Inc shares dropped 5% within hours. Steve’s health had been in the news for some time and yesterday the world lost Steve Jobs. Millions of people around the world are mourning over Steve’s death and remembering him.

Steve Job’s gave a powerful commencement speech at the University of Stanford few years ago. Here is one part which is to remember “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

Today a genius and an inspiration for millions of people around the globe have passed away. This is a brief summary of Jobs career, life and his vision.
