The world’s most expensive luxury city, Hong Kong earns a double bonus on supercar unveils. At the launch event of the McLaren P1, the company also pulled the curtains off a special edition, the McLaren 12C B&W Edition, which is exclusive to the city. The special edition has been created by the brand’s Special Operations (MSO), and features a unique two-tone color scheme.

The supercar is coated in a special white finish with gloss black touches on the roof, wheels, mirror housing and front splitter, and gloss white paint on the air vents and instrument cluster, which differentiates it from the regular McLaren 12Cs.

The limited edition McLaren 12C B&W Edition has been priced at 4.68 million HKD ($603,300), while the P1 comes for a whooping 8.9 million HKD ($1,147,000).

The special edition car is powered by the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as the regular McLaren 12C. Owing to which the car races to 62mph in just 3.1 seconds, with an impressive top speed of 332km/h.

To add to this, the engine works on an extremely fast-shifting dual-clutch and has a seven-speed transmission, which you would love to zoom in, provided you are from Hong Kong.
