One of the interactive learning approach is ‘the sooner, the better’, as children are capable of learning at an early age. So the first question that comes in mind is that, is your child ready to start preschool? Is your child ready to take that first step into the classroom?  As a parent, it’s a big decision to enroll your child in playgroup, and to decide when is your child ready to start preschool?

• Child’s Age

• Washroom Trained

Self-caring primarily means that a child should be bath trained, or at least well aware about how to wash or clean properly? Your child is ready to start preschool when he knows about taking off shoes and coat, how to zipper up pants or trouser, and awareness to wash hands properly.

• Learning & Motor Skills

Your child is ready to start preschool, if he or she, has the ability to read and write elementary English and Urdu vocabulary. Another way to judge that your child is ready to start preschool, is to examine your child motor skills. How well your child holds a pencil or crayon? How much grip a child has, while writing? These factors are crucial to determine that whether your child is ready to start preschool or not?
