First time designer fashion show is held in Lahore at Governor House. It is expected that the 2nd show will be held in New York in March 2014. The event is hosted by actress/model Juggan Kazim, moreover the event featured slide presentations and speeches of key figures at APTMA, comprising of a clothing/fashion show by some of the foremost designers of the country, followed by a lavish dinner prepared for the guests.
Amongst the main stream of so many designers there was one big name prominent ‘Republic collection by Omar Farooq. The man who has one of the most progressive fashion labels for the contemporary men first but now also famous amongst women, and the brand has become synonymous with success, style and masculinity.
Omar’s recent first women’s pret-collection "TRÉS CHIC has launched. The designer exhibited innovative elemental designs for the urban man and innovating on them to create signature cuts and styles. The ensembles are simply mid blowing his label’s signature style s always as chic and elegant. From ready-to-wear jeans, long boats, color jeans, short jackets, leather pants and coats were all classy with inventively blunt cuts.
His collection brings a real metamorphosis where modern is no longer synonymous with bare backed, revealing cuts but rather an inspiring and creative styling. The collection was showcased in eminent colors of gray, white, brown and black. The styling and make-up was done by Sabs Salon, whereas the choreography was done by Frieha Altaf. The event was managed by Catalyst PR & Marketing.
