Qatar International Fashion Festival (QIFF) took place on March 19th and 20th 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in Doha, Qatar. The event was Asia’s biggest fashion show and exhibition with 8 Pakistani Designers to Showcase at Qatar International Fashion Festival.
The Qatar market of Doha was entertained with the latest bridal collection of Adnan Pardesy. Amongst the 8 Pakistani designers , one of them was our favorite Adnan Pardesy. Adnan Pardesy took his latest bridal collection to Doha for Qatar International Fashion Festival, and reports a fabulous response and significant sales.
Adnan’s Doha collection was a fusion of modern and traditional lehenga themes. The embroidered patterns embellished stone works and distinctive cuts were the main attractions. Pakistani and Qatar models walked the ramp and were looking extremely attractive.
Bold colors were used in the bridal collection as a theme with very glittery sequin , dubka, ar and gota detailing. According to Adnan Pardesy: “Paris and Amsterdam were just shows,” Pardesy admits about his earlier showings in Europe, “but you never know who you might meet after the show. There are people who just come to watch the show and then there are serious buyers. They add to our existing online clientele in India and the Middle East.”
“I always go with no expectations,” says Adnan Pardesy, who showed his latest bridal collection at QIFF this month, “But the response I got was fabulous. I think Doha’s a great market – it’s better than Dubai. Bridals offer a huge business in the Middle East and we got quite a few orders.”
