“Love is in the air”! As clichéd as it might be that is definitely the case as it’s Valentine’s Day and what better way to celebrate it than in a fun and fashion manner! Afreen Shiraz of Ellemint Pret in collaboration with IDEAS Events PR recently whipped up a Valentine Special Fashion event to celebrate the day of love. The outlet had been done up beautifully with red balloons and add-ons lending the environs festivity. The window display had mannequins dressed in radiant red outfits complimented by accessories and balls and balloons scattered all around.
The 25 plus designers stocking at Ellemint Pret, along with three new entrants – Ayesha Anees, Tania Auib and Annus Abrar – had worked up elaborate collections primarily in red and pink shades besides other colours for this specific fashion event. As soon as guests and media had arrived, music started blaring from the speakers indicating the fashion do was about to begin. Soon models could be seen coming down the picturesque staircase weaving through the guests. Dressed in reds, the models were a picture of perfection. The model brigade had been beautified by Afreen Shiraz herself at Ellemint Salon et Spa. She had opted for a red pout with soft, sparkling eye shades that complimented the outfits.
Designers who had created Valentine’s Day collections included Sofia Naveed Lari of SNL, Aasia Wasay, Aisha Motiwala, Asima Rushna, Ayesha Khurram, Bailin, Black & White, Cranberry, Madiha Abrar, Marvi, Maryah Dada, Muubeena Shiraz, Nida Khurram, Nimra K, Rabail Omar, Revamp by Munaf Mansoor, Saara & Natasha, Saim, Saira Rizwan, Sarah Yasir, SNL, SRS, Teena by Hina Butt, Zara & Fatima, Ayesha Anees, Tania Auib and Annus Abrar. One thing common in all collections was the brilliant use of the colours red and pink. SNL for instance had created an enchanting line in red, pink and black. And the fabric employed by most of the designers was flowy.
Afreen Shiraz shared that the Valentine’s Special fashion event had been fabulous “and the response unbelievable. Ellemint Pret has been thronged by our regulars as well as general public since morning and it was heartening to see that they liked what they saw… Proof of which was that they were mostly leaving the outlet with handsome purchases. We enjoy a reputation of stocking special collections on special occasions hence ladies coming to Ellemint Pret are aware of the fact that they will always find exactly what they are looking for.”
Ellemint Pret has garnered the reputation of being one of the best multi-label stores at present stocking only the best. It was only a year ago, that Ellemint Pret – a multi label store – opened its doors to public. Afreen Shiraz, who heads the facility, had been busy with her Ellemint Salon et Spa at that point in time. An accomplished stylist and beautician, Afreen decided to expand her business and so Ellemint Pret was born. Fast forward one year and there’s lots happening at the swanky store.
The Valentine’s Special Fashion event was attended by fashionistas, celebrities and media besides Afreen’s friends and family members.
