The noodle house is a flagship restaurant of Jumeirah Restaurant’s LLC – Dubai, UAE. Launched in 2002, the brand has gone from strength to strength with restaurants in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Riyadh, Morocco, Limassol, Rabat and Pakistan. The noodle house will soon be operational in Russia, Lebanon, Great Britain, Kenya and Turkey.
First outlet in Pakistan was launched in Oct. 2011 in Gulberg, Lahore. In 2012 it entered Karachi’s market at Pearl Continental Hotel and now in Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi. The noodle house is expanding globally with agreements already signed with franchise partners across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Exclusive rights to open nationwide chain of the noodle house in Pakistan are acquired by Zahdan Retail, a company of Zahdan Group (Pvt) Ltd.
Mr. Murtaza Hashwani, CEO of Zahdan Group, said ‘Launch of the noodle house in Lahore and Karachi has received great response from consumers and this has elevated our spirits towards a massive expansion plan in all major cities of Pakistan. The noodle house Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi is the third outlet and soon to be followed by another one in Islamabad in third quarter of 2013’
Usman Sakrani, COO Zahdan Retail said: “Diversity is the key element to success in all walks of life. The secret behind success of South East Asian cuisine is the fact that it combines taste of numerous cultures and flavors from cities such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Shanghai, Bangkok and Jakarta. Inspiration of the noodle house comes from street stalls of South East Asian countries which sell the most amazing aromatic selection of food. Healthy, delicious and vibrantly fresh, this is the food that is relished by everyone from tourists to business people. It is also precisely the type of food that is served at the noodle house.
People are intuitively drawn to the vibrant atmosphere of the noodle house. It is a restaurant where chefs whip up aromatic dishes within minutes over an open flame, in full view of guests. Diners feel at ease in the cheery atmospheric buzz which is a combination of fun, casual and fine dining. In keeping with the unpretentious, streetwise ambience, diners simply tick their choices on an order pad, hand it to their servers and are often surprised at how quick the food reaches their tables. While food is served quickly – indeed, diners are often surprised at just how soon their meal arrives – it is also light years away from the standard concept of ‘fast food’.
The surroundings are informal yet extremely stylish. The servers dressed with understated chic, are remarkably friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. The venue offers a smiling welcome to one and all, from fashion-conscious singles on a night out to large groups of friends and families enjoying a leisurely get-together.
The launching event of Noodle House in Karachi was joined in by celebrities, designers and many corporate personalities such as Angie Marshal, Ayesha Omer, Hira Lari, Mathira, Mona J, Nazia Malik, Actress Hina, fashion photographer Tapu Javeri, Tayyab Bombal, Ayesha Tammy, Wardah Saleem, Actor Adil Murad and many others. The experience is a unique combination of wholesome food and an energetic ambience that very few restaurants have been able to perfect quite like the noodle house.
