Rose Petal has taken the responsibility of creating Hand Hygiene Awareness in school going kids. They recently collaborated with Beacon house school system and launched a first of its kind nation wide hygiene adventure campaign.
Rose Petal organised a hand hygiene awareness campaign in Beaconhouse School Y Block, DHA. The purpose of it was to educate the adults who would in turn educate their children on the issue of germs and its adverse effects. The event was well attended.
The message was transferred via talks, theatre and story-telling. Hi & Gene were the two main characters who through the art of story- telling explained how bacteria was found mostly on hands and how to curtail its spread through repeated hand washing.
A special thanks goes to Mr Shaheen Sadiq- Business Unit Manager, Rose Petal for this commendable effort and Sahar the brand manager for Rose Petal. More praise goes to the marketing head of Beaconhouse Tabraiz Bokahri, who collaborated to make this event a success, Dr Humayun Iqbal as the guest speaker and of course the brand ambassador Sara Zubair. The creative team headed by Madiha and Aiman deserve a special mention for setting up the event. The event was open to the public. Rose Petal intends to take the programme to other branches of Beaconhouse School as well.
The slogan was “Wipe it off with a tissue”. And to endorse the concept, a booth was set up where the guests would go, dip their hand into paint and put it on the wall as a memoir. They would then wipe it with a tissue and not just any tissue but with Rose Petal.
On the whole the event was a success. The seating arrangement was a casual sit-down- keeping the event in mind and the décor was fantastic as well. The event was followed by hi-tea and to make it memorable a gift pack was distributed to the guests. It had a flash drive, a key ring and a poster. PR was managed by Savvy.
