PIFD Graduation Show 2013

Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) organized an annual thesis Graduation Show to showcase the design elements of thesis work done by students graduating in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Leather Accessories and Foot wear Design.

At this fashion filled extravaganza, the elites from society, industry executives, fashion designers, fashion divas and fashionistas were invited to enjoy the thesis work of PIFD students who marked another milestone in the academic calendar of PIFD.

Thirteen students, twelve female and one male student, who have completed their graduation exhibited their creations at the PIFD Graduation Show 2013. Red carpet of the show was hosted by Amna Kardar wearing a glamorous jumpsuit by Karma Pink.

All students presented their exclusive collection at PIFD annual thesis Graduation Show. Each collection had a unique theme and encapsulated fabulous designs by students. Fatima Sultan came up with her collection entitled The Diminishing Grandeur, Arooj Gulraiz showcased Reminiscence, Sana Munir with Siren-The Ferocious Enchanter, Hira Rasheed presented Zargan- The Explorer, Zeeshan Noor brought Grey Parrot And Zulu Tribe, Wajiha Zaidi embraced theme Mechanical Mania, Bisma Iqbal worked on theme Dimensional Deception, Qanoot Jahangir with The Beak Doctor, Sarah Awais brought Veils of The East, Asma Aslam worked on theme Morphology  of Spider, Mahnoor Javaid with Robo Retro, Zoha Aslam presented Volcanic Emission, Aena Umar showcased Marco Polo-The Great Silkroute, Anam Anis introduced Stamps of The World, Maeen Sohail worked on Banyan Tree, Minahal Afzal came up with The Game of Kings And The King of Games, Farhan Javaid showcased Celtic Art, Nadia Zulfiqar launched Geisha Warrior, Fareeha Naveed with La Beaute- De La Cathedrale Nortredam, Amna Malik showed Functional Redefinition- Origami, Beenish Naveed with I Remember Better When I Paint, Nida Aziz with The Jhansi Warrior, Rabia Ayaz with African Safari, Fatima Naeem presented What The Water Gave Us, Zaib Janjua entitled her collection as Centre Pompidou – Unconventional Structure, Maham Asad with Miltia of Chameleons, Rabia Tahir introduced Modern Malang, Emaan Waheed showcased Sacrifice For The Greater God, and Razia Hassan with Mand Nashi Dart Hoi- Welcome To My Marriage.

Then there was presented a wide range of unconventional footwear and leather accessories that all made the PIFD Graduation Show 2013 more exciting and inspiring for fashion fanatics.
