300-Rise of an Empire Premiere at Taj Cinema

Cinestar Cinema recently launches Cinestar Taj Cinema on March 6th, 2014 at the Premiere of Ali Zafar’s most awaited movie of the year “Total Siyappa”. The Red carpet took place at 8pm. After the premiere of Total Siyappa, 300: Rise of an Empire was also shown, a 2014 American fantasy war film directed by Noam Murro. It is a follow-up to the 2007 film 300, taking place before, during, and after the events of that film with a fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Salamis. It is based on the as-yet-unreleased Frank Miller graphic novel Xerxes. Zack Snyder, who directed and co-wrote the original film, acts as writer and producer on Rise of an Empire.

The cast includes Lena Headey, Rodrigo Santoro, David Wenham, Andrew Tiernan, Andrew Pleavin and Peter Mensah reprising their roles from the first film, alongside Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Hans Matheson, Callan Mulvey, and Jack O’Connell. 

The film was released in 3D and IMAX 3D on March 7, 2014 and the premeire was shown in Taj Cinema, Lahore. Only few cinemas in Lahore are 3D that includes Cine Gold, DHA Cinema, Sozo World, Super Cinema, and Cine Star. Taj Cinemas will be the new addition for all those film buffs residing in the area. Location of the Taj Cinemas is primary as it opened at Gari Shahu near New Queen Marry College. 

The event was managed by Bilal Mukhtar Events & PR. The Total Siyappa Movie Premiere was well attended by Juggun Kazim, Dr Farzeen, Noman Javed, Kuki, Zahra Raza, Syed Noor, Natasha Hussain, Sarah Gandapur and many others.

Cinestar Cinema did an opening of Taj Cinema near New Queen Marry College following a premier of 300- Rise of an Empire.
