Afreen Shiraz hosted a fun-filled fashion evening to celebrate the first anniversary of Ellemint Pret on June 2, 2012 in Karachi.
Afreen, who heads Ellemint Pret, had planned the event with lots of surprises for guests and clients alike. For instance the entire stock comprising elegant outfits by various designers were on (up to 50%) sale on the day of the anniversary. From the time the store opened its doors, women started pouring in all wanting to be the first to get the best deals. And so it continued throughout the evening.
The theme for the evening was black & white for all designers stocking at Ellemint Pret and the best dressed won a surprise gift! As for the guests and clients, complimentary nail colour application was offered which was a hit with the fairer gender. And on the purchase of three outfits a surprise spa voucher was given out.
The evening kicked off with refreshing mint cocktails and hors d’oeuvres being served as guests started arriving. The outlet had been done up beautifully with balloons, tissue and floral arrangements all done by the designers and the Ellemint Pret team under the expert supervision of Afreen. At the entrance showcase, the mannequin had been dressed up in an eye-popping balloon and tissue dress in black and white. Talk about creativity, and it sure was at its best at the anniversary event. Media and PR for the anniversary celebration had been managed by IDEAS Events PR.
As soon as guests and media had gathered models dressed to the hilt snaked down the staircase weaving through the guests. The models had been beautified by Afreen herself at Ellemint Salon et Spa. Ellemint Pret stocks 25 designers and the models displayed one creation by each designer. Names of designers are Ash Nabil, Asima Rushna, Ayesha Khurram, Bailin, Cranberry, Divulge Aisha Motiwala, Ennz, Hina Shahryar, Madiha Abrar, Marvi, Maryah Dada, Mubeena Shiraz, Nida Khurram, Pinx, Rabail Qureshi, Saim, Saira Rizwan, Sana & Leena, Sarah Yasir, Satya Paul, SNL, SRS, Stance, Teena by Hina Butt and Tena Durrani.
Celebrities, fashionistas and media personnel were in great attendance at the classy affair. Afreen could be seen hobnobbing with guests graciously accepting compliments on the completion of one successful year of Ellemint Pret.
While talking to the media, a beaming Afreen said: “We’ve had a fruitful first year and wanted to celebrate it with everyone of you out there who have supported us.”
