The new comic flick ‘Yes Man’ could not have been better without Jim Carrey’s hilarious and uproarious performance. It is a movie, YES! You all should watch!
Director of the hit movies ‘Bring it On’ and ‘The Breakup, Peyton Reed is a steadfast comedy director, he chose just the right man to fit in his comic screenplay, Jim Carrey. He sure knows how to give his audience for big laughs without going offtrack.
The story revolves around Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) who recently got divorced and is in a blind alley in terms of his job. His only problem is one word… “No!” He is in the habit of saying NO to almost everything. Until one day he is pushed to visit those encouraging self-help seminars. Surprisingly, it changes his life completely since it makes him say “Yes” to everything, otherwise bear horrifying results. But it seems work to too much for him in ways he never had expected. Carl’s brand new ‘YES’ experience gives him beyond his imaginations. He even finds the love of his life, Allison (Zooey Deschanel), who is professionally a musician/amateur photographer.
Nevertheless, this newfound benevolence does bring out a rain of serious consequences but, Carl gets his lessons from them.
The storyline may seem similar to Jim Carrey’s Liar Liar, however, it is still has its appeal and promising in making it worth watching for you.
