As messed up as it sounds, trolling is one of those things that don’t discriminate, because regardless of your gender, age or profession, people will find a reason to criticize you. So, if Bollywood celebrities are currently under the scanner for getting “alleged” work done on their faces, South actors and actresses aren’t far behind.
We say this after we saw South and Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan become the latest victim to the trolling of fans for getting supposed cosmetic surgery. A thread on Reddit discussed how Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor isn’t the only one who’s gone under the knife, as they dig up old ‘before-after’ pictures of Shruti Haasan.
One user wrote, “There’s clearly an epidemic of deviated septums among the Bollywood celebs. It’s really heartbreaking how they have to come out with a completely different-looking nose.” Another one commented, “I loved how she looked in Luck!! The grunge aesthetic suited her, not a fan of the “dolled up” change she went through”
Since there has been no confirmation for the claims, these speculations are unsubstantiated and, honestly, getting pretty old considering fans are stopping to criticize someone for their personal choice. Whether or not a celebrity admits to undergoing a cosmetic procedure, it’s about time we focus on our own selves than ponder over film stars
