Famous comedian Sikandar Sanam who is known for doing parody of Bollywood film Tere Naam 2 and also for participating in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, has passed away due to liver cancer, last night.
Muhammad Sikander aka Sikandar Sanam gained popularity in Pakistan showbiz for his exceptional on stage mimicry, stand-up comedy and acting in theatre and films. He was suffering through liver cancer and was admitted to Aga Khan University Hospital back in September but was discharged afterwards. As he had a serious illness, the ARY Digital was trying to arrange his treatment at one of the best hospitals in Mumbai, famous for curing cancer patients.
Unfortunately, he could not make up to live more and died on Monday afternoon. His funeral was offered at Siddiqui Masjid in Bohra Pir. The leading personalities attending his burial included comedy king Umer Sharif, Shakeel Siddiqui, Rauf Lala, Muhammad Ifraheem, Saleem Afridi, and Aftab Alam.
Sikandar Sanam has left behind his wife with six children.
