One of the most anticipated movies of the year Jaanisaar, featuring Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas will be released on August 28, 2015 across Pakistan. Jaanisaar directed by Muzaffar Ali features Prenia Qureshi in lead role opposite Imran Abbas.
The lead cast and crew of the movie, who are currently promoting the movie in India, will be visiting Pakistan soon for the movie promotion in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Set in the pre-Independence era, 20 years after 1857, Jaanisaar is a love story of a courtesan deeply rooted in the ethos of Indian culture fired by the passion for freedom and an Indian prince returned from England.
Bollywood and Pakistan singers, including Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh, Malini Awasthi, Shafqat Ali Khan and Abida Parveen have lent their magical voices to the soundtrack of the film.
The film got released in India August 21, 2015 and is all set to release in Pakistan on August 28, as posted by Imran Abbas on his official twitter account.
