Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton To Tie The Knot This Saturday?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton might tie the knot this weekend if their application for a marriage license this Tuesday was anything to get by. So, it may probably happen on July 3.

News about Stefani and Shelton's marriage broke after the Johnston Country Court Clerk revealed the couple already secured their marriage license. According to TMZ, the two only have ten days to get married from the date they file for a marriage license in Oklahoma. Sources who know the issue told TMZ the pair is set to walk down the aisle Saturday at the country singer's Oklahoma ranch. Shelton and Stefani will allegedly have an entire weekend of activities and celebrations to commemorate their much-awaited marriage. However, this may change because of the bad weather forecast. The Weather Channel warned of a flash flood warning because of possible thunderstorms that would produce heavy rains this weekend. But if the weather favors them and gives them a sunny day, they are set to hold their wedding at the outdoor chapel of the ranch. The insiders added Stefani, Shelton and their kids are already in Oklahoma. They arrived last Friday after the "God's Country" singer finished his "The Voice" filming. The tipsters continued the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Shelton would send their private plane to Los Angeles to pick up the former No Doubt frontwoman's family. Anyhow, the most-awaited wedding will allegedly be only an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. To recall, Page Six noted a source close to Shelton and Stefani revealed the initial built a chapel on the grounds of his sprawling ranch with the plan to use it for their wedding. However, the "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker started to baffle everyone earlier this month when she was seen wearing a diamond wedding ring next to her engagement band in photos exclusively obtained by The Post. To make the wedding rumors more hyped, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram a day before she was spotted with the ring with the caption, "She's getting married." Stefani and Shelton started dating in 2015 after going through respective divorces. Stefani was previously married to the Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, while Shelton was with the fellow country singer Miranda Lambert. He then popped up the question to the mother-of-three in October with a stunning 6- to 9-carat round solitaire diamond ring. If the wedding pushes through, it will be Stefani's second and Shelton's third marriage.
