Reema Kagti’s Mr Chaalu cast is confirmed. It seems Reema Kagti has finally pulled a casting coup. Mr. Chaalu will have Priyanka Chopra and Fawad Khan playing lead roles.
Originally titled Mr. Chaalu, the director Reema had announced the film with Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut initially.
Due to the busy schedule of both stars she started considering other actors. Mr Chaalu was scheduled to go on floors this January 2015 but a disagreement over the remuneration lead to Saif opting out first.
The versatile actress Kangana too followed suit as she gave her dates to Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X, in this movie the actress coincidentally have Saif with her in the lead.
After such disappointment, the director looked around and finally roped in PeeCee and the Khoobsurat star Fawad to romance each other in the film.
When asked to Priyanka if she would be willing to work with Fawad, she showed keen interest in working with the Pakistani heartthrob and the actress decided to immediately come on board after Reema narrated the script to her.
Let’s see if this couple will surprise the audience with their on screen chemistry.
