Canadian Indo-Pak Music band naQsh has officially released worldwide, the second music video from their debut album Saptak, for their track Megha. The music video, which has been directed by Taimoor Salahuddin (Mooro) of Aflatoon Studios, is a visual treat which captures how people from all walks of life celebrate the joy of rain.
The song itself is a catchy, cheerful pop/rock number that describes the excitement one feels when it pours; a perfect song to enjoy this monsoon season.
Director Taimoor has brought the feel of the song alive on screen by featuring unique sequences shot across India and Pakistan.
The music video for Megha can be viewed on all leading online platforms such as facebook, Vimeo and YouTube while the audio is available to download legally, along with the rest of the album, via Taazi.com. The video will also be airing on leading TV channels across Pakistan from today onwards.
Speaking about the release of the music video, bass guitarist Irfan Lawrence says “Megha was the first song from our album Saptak that we recorded in studio. I still remember we all were super excited when we listened to it. Releasing the video has not only reminded me of that time but has renewed that excitement and the more importantly, such a positive response from our fans has motivated us to keep making meaningful music”.
