The Eid-ul-Azha week is over and the movie fans and lovers are eager to know the results of the successes the movies had at the box office after release. And now that the financials are out, it is certain that Fahad Mustafa’s outstanding performance took his movie to the top.
Details emerging from the Pakistani Cinema Officials and Box Office data released reveal that collections from Actor-in-Law are above others and top the list as compared to collections from other Eid releases. Following Actor in Law are Janaan and Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai (ZKHH).
A review of the details show that Nabeel Qureshi’s Actor-in-Law was a little slow on the first day but then the activity picked up the business was great on the following day. As for Janaan the response was really heartwarming from both the local and international cinemas. Another movie that had a slow start was Zindgi Kitni Haseen Hai. However, this release also made its mark and made money in the days following.
Talking in terms of actual figures Actor in Law earned a total of PKR 1.65 crore on the first day and aggregated a wholesome 6 crores in 3 days.
Figures for Janaan amounted to PKR 1.04 crore, and ZKHH followed with PKR 0.75 crore. Actor in Law was grade as the best one in business terms during the 2016 Eid holidays. As a result of this success it surpassed the first day record set by Ho Mann Jahan.
