The season is here. Everyone is reaching out to get the best lawn collection. But, who says you could just use them to stitch clothes for yourself.
Here are a few things you could do with your leftover pieces of lawn from your shalwar kameez. Make the best use out of them.
Headbands & bandanas
Lawn isn’t just meant for getting a fancy shalwar kameez stitched out of. In fact, any other cloth in that matter. You may create plenty of fancy items out of them. So use your creativity and put it to best use. I would suggest you make lovely headbands out of it. Cut out a neat piece of cloth and sew elastic on the corners to keep the band in place. You may also use a few beads, sequins, or colorful buttons to add embellishments to your creation.
Lawn bandanas are also a perfect option to utilize the left over pieces. With the hot summer days, bandanas are ideal to protect yourself from the severe heat and sun rays. Simply cut out a square sized piece from material, hem it and there you have it, ready to be worn! You can wear it anytime you go out. It makes a good style statement.
Lawn belts – a perfect accessory!
Colorful tunics, brightly colored dresses and kaftans are this ‘in’ this summer. The tunics look more lovely when stitched fitted around the chest and let them hang loose from the waistline. To make yourself look more glamorized, add a thick lawn belt to that. You may even add colorful embellishments on it and make it look all sparkling with dazzling sequins, or colorful beads and fancy laces. Either tie it up from the back or use buttons to button it up.
And you still thought lawn can’t surprise you much?!
