Sahir Lodhi was born in Karachi to Ali kazim Lodhi and Roshan Gohar Lodhu. He grew up in a family with two brothers and one sister, Amir Lodhi (brother)Tahir lodhi(brother) shaista lodhi(sister).
Lodhi made his first TV appearance in directer ka bedroom on Indus TV. He produced Shair Online, Kuch Tum Kahao Kuch Hum Kahain, Ranjhey Sassi Punoon Heer, Dhorajee, The Sahir Show and Morning Masala shows. He has appeared in drama serials, including Bechrain Gay Abb Kaisay, Bikharnay Say Pehlay, Tum Miyray Ho, Khado Khal, Saheli and Adhoray Khaab. All of these failed to perform due to his poor acting.
