A proper deep hug can do wonders. We cannot deny that hugging is a universal need and it intakes lots of strength to withhold your relations, bond and affiliations with your loved ones.

For us Hugging is a way to express our emotions and feelings. The reason being that we find it the only one way to affirm and hold up another person. The arrogant stance will just deprive us from this beautiful- affectionate feeling.
The basic 4 Golden Rules of hugging are discussed as follows:

1. Strengthen Your Immune System

Hugging is a kind of therapy that’s boosts trust and sense of protection. It makes the blood flow in your body. The nurturing touches of a hug building relationships, and also encourages open and honest communication. Hugs can instantly boost oxytocin levels, which elevate the feeling of solitude, anger, and anxiety. Moreover, serotonin levels are also remained in control, elevating mood and creating happiness. Hugs strengthen the immune system and make your thymus gland to stimulate faster, which regulates and balances the body’s production of white blood cells, eventually keeping you away from many diseases.

Additionally, Hugging relaxes muscles. When you hug someone its releases tension stored in the body, take away pain and pacify aches by rising circulation into the soft tissues.

Obviously it’s a give and take at the end of it. There is equal value in receiving and being receptive to warmth, as to giving and sharing.

2. Boosts Self Association and Esteem

Research shows that Hugging boosts self-esteem. And we all are blessed with this since we born. At the Time of our childhood we were being loved, cared, and cuddled by our parents. Our family’s touch shows us that we’re special and beloved. The associations of self-worth esteem and importance has imbedded in our cellular level. The tactile sensations we received while growing up are still imbedded in our nervous system as adults. So, hugs remind us at a somatic level of that and connect us to our ability to self love.

3. Raise Sense of Security

We all have gone through the Harlow Studies many time, How can we forget about the 5 stages of Maslow Hierarchy?  The research showed evidence that adults who were regularly hugged and cuddled throughout early childhood exhibit less stress symptoms than less-hugged counterparts. Physical fondness also alleviates stress reactions in adults who report less existential anxiety even when touched only briefly.

4. Makes You Happy, Create Positive Feelings.

As adults, we can live without hugs, of course, but we do seem to be happier with them. We release the hormone oxytocin when touched, which elevates feelings of attachment, connection, conviction, and intimacy. When we’re hugged, we feel incredible and less lonely. It should be done in a proper way, a well given hug increases self assurance and well-bonded two of the persons.
