Youme Shuhada is the day which is observed by the Pakistani Army in credit to those brave army soldiers who laid their lives for the nation. They didn’t even care for their life just for the motherland. It is been observed on 30th of April. Each year it is been observed with much respect.
No one can reward the Shudhas. The reward and rank of the martyred is very high. Allah will reward them and it is said that these martyred are not dead and on the Day of Judgment they will be alive and they again want to die as a Shaheed.
Pakistan is constantly fighting the war on terror for more than a decade; this war has changed the whole scenario of our country. The war has done a great loss to us; many soldiers have given their lives. Pakistan army has played a chief role in it. Up till now 3620 soldiers have given their lives and so many got injured.
Shudhas are been remembered on this day and a great function is been organized at General Headquarters of Army. The families of the Shudhas and friends come to attend the ceremony. Many leaders and speakers give tribute to the soldiers who give their life for the nation.
If we talk about this day, our army has always gives their lives just for the people of Pakistan. The jawans of Army who sacrifice their live for the people of Pakistan need to be given tribute. Last year the army chief Asfaq Pervaiz Kiyani and top officers of the military attended the ceremony.
The ceremony starts with the recitation of the holy Quran and then with the national anthem of Pakistan. When we go back and see history there were many functions on which the army martyred were given tribute but now a day is decided for them. Many famous singers comes and sing national songs such as “ yeh Ghazi and is percham keh saye tale”.
Moving to the next step, army parade is been held, to give tribute the shuhdas. The top management is invited on the stage, first he addresses the guests with the speech and later on he tells everyone the role of army.
The names of the important shuhdas are Lt. Col. Amir Hammed Awan, he was martyred when army officers went to negotiate with Akbar Bugti. Lal Masjid was the one of important incident in the history of Pakistan; no one can ever forget it. Lt Colonel Haroon Islam Shahdeed was martyred in the Lal Masjid incident.
Youme Shuhda is the great day, the families of martyred are been served as the chief guests, they are given full honor and respect. The families of these martyred is the assets of the Pakistan Nation.
The Shuhdas are given much respect. The tribute is given in a way that the families of the martyred thinks that they are still alive and they have contributed a lot to the nation. Flowers and guard of honor is been given for the Shuhdas.
Some families of the martyred are facing lot of problems, there is been made a separate section which is dealing with the problems of the families and these officers honor them a lot. The 2014 is not a year of celebration; so many army officers were martyred. Major Jhanzeb Adnan was martyred on 18 of February in Peshawar in a terrorist activity. This year youme shuda event is been arranged at a large scale and it will be held at all the barracks of the country. People from all over Pakistan can attend this function.
