After the launch of MARIA.B.’s trendsetting Fall/Winter collection of linens in 2013 and following the brand’s launch of its limited yet exclusive edition of Indian Pashmina, MARIA.B. Pashmina, Pakistan’s leading designer label has introduced a new line of designer embroidered silk ensembles with their latest brand, Mbroidered. Indeed, the new line is a first-of-its-kind range of designer silks which feature intricate embroidery on luxe silks. The new collection will be available at select MARIA.B. outlets and leading retailers nationwide and internationally in UAE and UK from 1st March 2014 onwards.
An artistic celebration of feminity, the collection features shirts and dupattas across 15 diverse designs in pure Chinese silk chiffons, grip and katan fabrics. Expect digitally rendered animal prints, Ottoman influences, motifs such as the feminine French rose, Phulkari, Mughal embroideries and cross stitch embroideries in silk thread and sequins. The Mbroidered premium silk brand further incorporates a diverse colour palette comprising of pristine pastels, earthy tones and bright highlights with velvet and digitally printed borders combined with laces and buttons.
The new line was unveiled in an august gathering of guests including renowned fashion designers, socialites and esteemed members of the press and featured a fashion presentation showcasing ensembles from the new collection. The event was managed by Bilal Mukhtar Events with public relations by Lotus PR.
