The second Élan Polo Cup, among Pakistan polo’s most prestigious medium goal competitions, ended in an exciting finish as Team Newage defeated Team Fresher Juices / Sherwood 6 goals to 5 in the Final of the tournament. Shah Shamyl Alam was adjudged man of match and Taimur Hayat Noon received the Élan Polo Cup from Chief Guest Dr. Salman Shah on behalf of his team.
The final of the Elan Polo Cup 2013 was a thrilling encounter which drew a sizeable crowd to the Lahore Polo Club comprising of media and social personalities, fashion designers, models and corporate personalities alike. The award distribution ceremony comprised of Chief Guest Dr. Salman Shah, Creative Head at Élan Khadijah Shah, CEO Élan Jehanzeb Amin and President of the Lahore Polo Club Mr. Abdul Haye Mehta.
Taimur Hayat Noon, the youngest player of the finals, received the Élan Polo Cup from Dr. Salman Shah, who also distributed commemorative shields to all participating players. Mr. Abdul Haye Mehta further commended designer label Élan for their patronage of the game with a commemorative token of appreciation given to Jehanzeb Amin as CEO Élan on behalf of the Lahore Polo Club.

The final of the Elan Polo Cup 2013 was played by Team Newage, which consisted of Shah Shamyl Alam (4 goal handicap), Abdul Rehman Monnoo (2 goal handicap), Adnan Jalil Azam (1 goal handicap) and Taimur Hayat Noon (-1 goal handicap), competing against Team Fresher Juices/Sherwood as captained by the seasoned Shah Qubilai Alam (4 goal handicap) and featured Ahmed Zubair Butt (2 goal handicap), Mian Shahzad Aziz (1 goal handicap) and Shah Changez Alam (-1 goal handicap).
The Élan Polo Cup is a medium goal tournament started in the 2012-2013 polo season with 5 teams and only a single 4 goal handicapped player in the competition. The current Élan Polo Cup grew to feature 10 teams and a total of 5 players with a 4 goal handicap, indeed indicative of the success that the competition has achieved in the Pakistani polo community.
In addition to Polo, Elan has been a patron of different sporting pursuits in the past and recently collaborated with renowned biking enthusiast Moin Khan on “Project Pakistan”, where Moin Khan along with two American bikers embarked on a motorbike journey across Pakistan to discover the beauty and heritage of the country and to disseminate a positive image of his fellow countrymen. In addition to co-sponsoring the initiative, Élan also designed a special line of sportswear for the bikers.
