Amid beaming floodlights, the cutest mascots and an appealing pink and purple theme, Chatime officially opened up last evening at Mian Mehmood Kasuri Road, Lahore. Enthusiastic guests were lined up for the tasting of the first ever, globally successful café for Tea based beverages, now brought to Pakistan.
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place at around 6:30pm by Chairman of TFFY (Pvt) Ltd – which is the current holder of Chatime for Pakistan and Afghanistan. He was surrounded by a large crowd of guests and customers gathered for the opening, including well known personalities such as RJ Sophie of Radio1 FM91.
With outdoor tables set in the patio, the roomy interior of Chatime boasts a colorful fusion of pink and purple hues. A large LCD screen TV played the videos of international Chatime outlets across the world, informing guests of the success and popularity Chatime has acquired worldwide, over the years. Soft and comfortable seating and wood laminated floors give the whole interior a relaxed and friendly ambience.
The Chatime menu has a wonderfully wide range of beverages available in the categories of Fresh tea, Milk Tea, Fruit Teas, Coffee, Chillers and many more, for consumers to choose from. To add to the fun, Chatime drinks can be topped with yummilicious chewable toppings of Pearls and QQ jelly.
Another pleasantly fresh feature that the Chatime menu has introduced to Pakistan is the liberty to choose the exact level of sugar and ice in the drink. While ordering from the menu, one can choose the ice and sugar level from a choice of 120%, 100%, 80%, and 50% to none at all. This ensures one gets a drink according to one’s taste and preference.
Talking about introducing innovations in the café business all around the world, International Account Manager Anna Wang briefed everyone about the tea brewer or teaspresso by Chatime, which brews fresh tea on the spot. She also talked about the sealed cup service which is accomplished through a seal machine, ensuring that Chatime customers receive the freshest, covered drinks that won’t spill out.
Chatime also serves the ever loved Froyo Time frozen yoghurt, French Fries and Donner Kebabs to customers at the outlet. The turnout at the Chatime launch event was exceptional and guests lined up before the service counters in large numbers. The LCD menu on the service counter was another new experience for locals. The staff was completely charged up with the successful launch as they swiftly served the orders. In celebration of the launch, Chatime teas and juices as well as the Froyo Time frozen yoghurt was served to everyone, completely on the house.
Zohaib Nasir, Assistant Manager Marketing for Chatime expressed his pleasure at the launch’s success, “The turnout has been more than expected and feedback that we are receiving is very promising.
