On 4th and 5th of October 2013, Levi’s® engaged the Lahore heavy biking community for a two day activity, open to all. Levi’s® held an event that was geared towards showcasing the Lahore biker’s collection of fast & furious bikes, as well as routine, yet safe stunts they often practice and perform on their bikes.
Levi’s® is a brand which always believes in supporting upcoming artists and under appreciated communities, the world over. With the introduction of their new Levi’s® commuter line in Pakistan, specifically made for bikers, this was the perfect opportunity for the most loved jeans brand to do a Levi’s® and motorsports based activity, with the involvement of the local biking community. A total of 10 bikers belonging to the Xtreme Motorsports Club came to the new Levi’s® Flagship store at 9c MM Alam Road to participate in this one-of-a-kind two day event.
On the first day of the activity, 4th October, a variety of heavy and sports bikes could be spotted lined beautifully outside Levi’s®. The bikers were given the opportunity to choose a wardrobe from the store while being provided refreshments. A swarm of motorsports enthusiasts came, saw and loved the experience of viewing the bikes and meeting the bikers. Bikes which could be seen outside the store included: Yamaha R1 2011 & 2012, Yamaha R6 2008, 2010 & 2011, Suzuki Boulevard 2010, Suzuki GSRX 2010, Honda Shadow Aero and a gorgeous Harley Davidson.

On the second day of the activity, the bikes were back and the daring riders performed wheelies outside the Lahore flagship store, adorned in their brand new Levi’s® wardrobe. All 10 bikers were seen sporting the new commuter line. Made specifically for bikers, the commuter jeans legs are tapered so as to avoid getting the cuffs caught in the bike chain.
The commuter line is also reinforced in the crotch, back pockets and the belt loops for longer durability and boasts a 3M Scotchlite Reflective Tape on the interior cuff of the pant leg, to ensure bikers safety. All bikers who were a part of this activity, as well as motorsports and Levi’s® fans, had a great time. They were thrilled that the brand had organized an activity specifically for the biking community, which is a very rare happening in Pakistan.
