The International Indian Film Academy (iifa), conceptualised and produced by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd held a star studded celebratory dinner at Ritz Carlton, Dubai, recently. Organised by the iifa team, the celebrity list included, Arbaaz Khan, Neha Dhupia, Manisha Lamba and Aditi Singh Sharma along with Vishwa Mohan, Vice President, Middle East and Africa region, Wizcraft International Entertainment and Leeberson Nelson General Manager, Wizcraft International Entertainment.
A night full of glitz and glamour hosted at Ritz Carlton made it the perfect venue for celebrating the success of iifa 2013. The event kicked off with the celebrities on the Green Carpet and then were ushered in to the well decorated Samaya Ball Room.
The event was only for the creme la creme of Dubai which made it very exclusive. The tables were perfectly arranged so everyone could catch a view of the performances that were being performed on stage. Arbaaz Khan, Minnisha Lamba, Neha Dhupia and Aditi Singh Sharma were all called on stage to say a few words about iifa. The hosts made jokes on DABANG which had the whole VIPs seated in fits of laughter.

After the celebrities took their designated seats, the event started with a speech by Counsel General, Sanjay Verma who spoke about the ever great Indian Cinema and Bollywood which has become an integral part of India. The Indian Cinema has completed 100 years this year. After the speech the latest collections from Araa were showcased by beautiful models on the ramp.
The crowd cheered and applauded throughout the fashion show. Also iifa had arranged to screen some of the behind-the-scene happenings that occurred during the awards weekend in Macau. A performance by Aditi Singh Sharma, a plyback singer, who has many hit songs to her credit like “Main heroine hoon” from Heroine, “Choomanter” from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, “Hello Andheron” from The Avengers and many more, sang few of her hit songs.
While the stage was set ablaze with performances by the famous DANS group, the VIPs and the celebrities were treated to a scrumptious meal and ice cool cocktails by Grey Goose. Also present were two winners from Oman who had won two exclusive tickets to the event through a competition arranged by City Cinema supported by Mustafa Sultan.
As an institution, iifa has committed itself to taking Indian cinema to the world, through a showcase celebration at international destinations each year. Having travelled to picturesque destinations across the globe over the last 14 years, iifa has graced the shores of the UK, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Africa, Sri Lanka and North America.
