Mahgul for Nasreen Shaikh Launches Debut Pret a Porter Retail Line with The Archive CollectionFollowing the brand’s debut showcase at the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week in April with ‘The Archive Collection’, creative director Mahgul Rashid launches a retail pret a porter version of the same collection in Lahore at the PFDC, Ensemble and L’atelier, in Karachi at Labels and One by Ensemble, in Islamabad at L’atelier and online at the Labels Estore by the 22nd of June. The brand will also be available as of July online at Brand Central.

For the collection, the designer has found inspiration in old photographs from the Civil and Military Gazette to create pieces that attempt to re-invent a traditional aesthetic sensibility in a more modern context. Based in fabrics such as Stretch Denim, Cotton, Satin and Organza, the collection features structured and darted silhouettes with touches of cut and thread work in a monochromatic color palette with hints of blue.
