Middle East based designer, Najwa Imran has been working in fashion since 2009. Her collection intertwines both eastern and western elements that allow for a variety of styles. Her label includes a prêt-‐a-‐porter ranger, formals and semi-‐ formals. Her collection is ideal for today’s confident woman as well as for women who prefer a more covered style. Her pieces are vibrant and rich in colours, infusing eastern patterns into contemporary fashion. Each piece is unique and produced in limited editions for boutiques.

ORIGINS, established 2010, the brand has received a tremendous response. In a short time span they have reached Pakistan’s leading fashion cities; Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad with a total of nine retail outlets. Through franchise networks ORIGINS plans to reach out to their customers in all major markets globally. On its most recent campaign of Spring/Summer Launch 2013, the brand used a various advertising opportunities. The response of the launch was overwhelming on the first day alone. The initial brand name was “WASIM’S SOPHIA COLLECTION”. Ranging from everyday wear for the modern workingwoman to formal wear, her collection is inspired from the Mughal courts, Maharajas and nazims of the sub-‐continent. The mix of fabrics, prints and a multitude of colours are Sophia Mehta’s expertise.
