Pakistani drama industry is much popular. In 80’s and 90’s there was such zeal and aura of a Pakistani dramas. Roads would clear up and there would be absolute silence in homes and roads from 8 to 9 PM when the dramas aired. On that time there was only one channel i.e. PTV.
Now a number of channels are working and casting new talent for the promotion of drama industry. Due to efficient team work of directors, producers, actors, actresses and other co workers, drama industry has got tremendous success and popularity.
People are taking keen interest in dramas and I often observe people talking about recent and ongoing drama serials enthusiastically. It is a golden era for Pakistan drama industry. The fame of drama industry is also because of hard work and brilliant performance of actors and actresses. Few names that are working hard and are being appeared in mostly drama serials include;
Fawad Afzal Khan a well known actor, singer and model who started his career in 2007 in a film Khuda Kay Liye. Later he is admired by his brilliant performance in Pakistani drama serial Daastan and humsafar.
To become a good actor and for giving more time to acting, he left singing. He got high position in drama artists due to his handsome personality and lush looks. Now his drama is air Zindagi Gulzar hai on Hum TV and is being liked by majority of people.
Ayeza Khan is a famous actor as well as model. Her first drama serial was Tum Jo milay in 2009. She has appeared in many drama serials on different Pakistani channels. She got viewers’ attention due to her impressive acting and looks.

Faisal Qureshi is a big name in Pakistan Drama Industry. He is not a new actor but he is seen in different notable drama serials that are air on almost every channel. He is the most versatile actor and play all type of roles. He has also received several awards. He is famous for his incredible acting and looks.
Mavra Hocane is new talent. She is very young actress. She started her career as a VJ on ATV. She got tremendous success and popularity by performing in Yahan Pyar Nahi Hai. She has appeared in a main leading role in this drama serial.
