Following the announcement of Nida Azwer’s debut collection of boutique and limited edition of unstitched lawn prints earlier in February,the Nida Azwer atelier announces official exhibition dates for Karachi on the 15th of March at Shara- e- Attar near Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazaar, Block 4 Clifton and in Lahore on the 17th of March at 1O T, Main M MAlam Road. The brand also reveals actress Humaima Mallick as the official Nida Azwer lawn ambassador.
Speaking about her debut S/S lawn collection and her choice of brand ambassador, fashion designer Nida Azwer said “This is the first time I’m doing lawn and I am doing it independently as it has allowed me greater freedom in all aspects – from the creative to the retail side. Also, with my lawn, each print is deliberately available only in limited edition quantities to retain a sense of exclusivity and that is important to me.
Given that my brand has always encapsulated that which is instinctively Pakistani, be that in our craftsmanship or embroideries, I was keen to work with a Pakistani personality for my lawn as well. I am therefore delighted to have Humaima Mallick represent this boutique lawn collection”

The Nida Azwer S/S 13 debut limited edition lawn collection is an eclectic mix of fun, quirky and classy designs. For this collection, designer Nida Azwer has drawn from a diversity of inspirations; from the timelessness of European buildings to the richness of Turkish pottery, drawing upon the beauty of the French trellis and florals and fusing this with a heady mix of African influences and enchanting birds.
For her S/S 2013 limited edition collection, Nida Azwer showcases pure chiffon digitally printed duppatta’s as well voile duppattas. Expect personalized Nida Azwer buttons, hand embroidered buttons, handmade tassels and Nida Azwer’s signature screen prints, embroidered motifs and pockets as seen in add ons and accessories.
For S/S limited edition lawn 2013, Nida Azwer will be introducing10 unique prints with each in 2 distinct colour variations with three piece suits priced between a range of PKR 3500 and PKR 5500.
