Pakistan’s pioneering designer textile brand, Kayseria, announce the launch of their spring/summer collection, ‘Kayseria Summer Journey 2013’, this February. Being launched simultaneously in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and India,
this season the Kayseria Summer Journey 2013, introduces more than 60 distinct designs created to aesthetically reflect various cultures and traditions across six distinct themes.
The Collection:
1. Egyptian:
The land of the glorious Pyramids and glowing gold finds its way on to the quality Kayseria fabrics where a tale of luxury and finesse unravels in this majestic collection. With this theme, the Kayseria Summer Journey travels through the ancient Kingdom.
2. Mughal Style:
Kayseria’s Summer Journey carries forth into the lands under the banner of the Mughal crown. In Palaces across Hindustan, hand-painted with blossoming plants and ornamental patterns, glittering with precious jewels in glowing colors, the Mughal mystique lays a rich and bountiful source of insight. This theme will transport the wearers to the days of eclectic glory as the era of greatest patronage of arts and crafts comes alive in print.
3. African Kings and Queens:
with this theme, Kayseria revists the monarchs of the world’s wildest continent. Straddling the equator, Africa makes up for a collection bestowed with a rich diversity in patterns and color. These prints offer an insight into the wildlife, alluring landscapes, and the regalia of the Kings and Queens who have ruled these blessed lands.
4. Truck Art:
This summer, Kayseria sets out on a ride around the world, and the journey begins, decked up in bright colors and stunning patterns inspired by the intricacies of Truck Art. Speeding into a setting sun on country roads, gleaming in a myriad of decorative details, Trucks in Pakistan are Road Royalty. These vehicles are an ode to the love and labor of their artisans and owners, while Kayseria’s Truck art inspired collection is a salute to the bedazzling beauty of this craft.
5. Botanical:
Celebrating Nature’s ethereal beauties, Kayseria Summer Journey 2013’s Botanical Garden collection celebrates the variety of flora and fauna from across the world.
6. Jewels of the World:
Glowing under the setting sun, precious stones in precise cuts, beaded beauties and reflective metals reveal the aspirations of the reigning royals, the luxurious life of the court, and the spoils from the successful expeditions. As Kayseria’s Summer Journey continues into more exotic locations, jewels glitter on their quality fabrics, making this season, a truly regal experience.
Each ensemble part of this collection comes in up to 3 colour ways. In keeping with the brands’ commitment to quality, the collection will come in a Silicone Finish which softens the fabric and is complemented by a Moisture Management Finish which supports the natural cooling system of body by dissipating perspiration efficiently and drying quickly thus enhancing comfort in the Spring/Summer season.
Fabrics:
Kayseria Summer Journey 2013 comes in a variety of fabrics including Lawn [wider width and Swiss Lawn], Chiffon, Cotton Net, Chamoise, Silk Net, Spendex and Finer Cambric.
Add-Ons:
General embroideries and embellishments are included in this collection in the form of laces and patches in each ensemble with theme specific motives and borders designed exclusively for Kayseria Summer Journey 2013.

With a price range of PKR 2,800 and PKR 8,000, Kayseria’s Summer Journey 2013 will be available at over 50 Kayseria outlets across 5 countries from 18th February 2013 and onwards.
For this collection, the concept of illustrations and a tailor book is being introduced. To this end, fashion illustrations have been handmade by an illustrator especially for the Kayseria Summer Journey 2013 catalogue including thematic artworks.
