Bollywood thriller Table.21 has already won praises from film critics before it made way to the public at theaters. The film is all set for a worldwide release today.
The story revolves around a couple who live a mediocre life and are thrilled to have won an exotic vacation to Fiji. Their excitement increases when they get a chance to play “Tell all truth” game for mind boggling prize money. The game begins and the couple discovers that the game isn’t really a game, but is a game of survival.
Director Aditya Datt, who is gearing up for the release of thriller Table No. 21, says the reason behind choosing the number 21 is linked to article 21 of the Constitution. “I don’t believe in numbers. We did not choose the number 21 because we like it or because the film is about gambling or something,”.
“Constitution of India’s Article 21 is ‘right to life’. The game in the film somehow snatches that right from the player. The story is related to this article. We chose this number as we thought it is important to bring in this number into the film. That’s why we chose the title ‘Table No.21’,” he said.
Table No.21, features Paresh Rawal, Rajeev Khandelwal and Tena Desae. Datt has directed films as such Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Good Luck! and Will You Marry Me?
The movie is being distributed in Pakistan by IMGC Global and PR is done by Encyclomedia PR.
