And two years later he is back with a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Dabangg-2, that ‘dabangg-ingly’ broke all records for a mega opening in Pakistan, earning 11.7 million in profits. The previous record for the largest opening for any movie was held by Amir Khan’s Talash, which grossed 9.3 million on the first day.The figures were revealed by Encyclomedia PR, the official PR firm for Dabangg-2.
With an ever so memorable premiere, at the reopening of Capri cinema in Karachi, Dabangg 2 brings back the incorrigible Chulbul Pandey, in an all new setting.
With trademark dance moves, item numbers by KareenaKapoor and MalaikaArora Khan, fast-track action sequences, an upgrade from small town policewala to the Kanpur chowki as a loving family man, Dabangg 2 has all the Bollywood masala that should make the movie’s 2nd
installment everything that the viewers have been expecting and more.
