The Designers multibrand store celebrated an exciting and innovative chand raat fest at their 26th store location.
The festivities kicked off with bangles and mehndi stalls at the store. Exclusive collections were put forth by renowned designers such as Rizwan Beyg, Mehdi, Nomi Ansari, Karma and others. Rizwan Beyg’s collection was based on separates such as tunics, embroidered tops, long flowy shirts and more; while Mehdi’s collection was a combination of semi formals and formals, all intricately worked and embellished with a great deal of care. Karma put forth both the Karma Pink range and a Karma Princess collection, offering both mothers and daughters the chance to dress up in similar designs.
“I think The Designers multibrand store mid Ramadan exhibition was truly unbelievable,” said Maliha Khawaja, 32, who was shopping at the store for an Eid jora for herself and her two daughters.
Downstairs, heavy discounts were being offered on manicures and pedicures at Style Q salon where women were lining up to get themselves pampered. Upcoming designers Aisha Alam, Cranberry, Umsha, Nigoree and others were showcasing their latest collections for Eid.
Aisha Alam’s collection was titled Be jewelled and was inspired from jewellery and jewels. The Cranberry collection was created form the purest chiffons and silks, and was embellished with delicate bead work and intricate embellishments. Nigoree’s collection was based on formals and semi formals, and comprised of a huge range of clothes in vibrant and fiesty colors and patterns. Special discounts were also being offered on Naaj by Najia Anis’s diamond jewellery range which comprised of trinkets, complete sets and separate pieces.
“Every year on Eid, The Designers multibrand store brings forth the largest possible variety of designers for our customers,” said Asad Tareen, the CEO of The Designers multi brand store. “This year also, we lived up to our promise of providing a huge medley of choices for our customers.”
On chand raat, customers continued mingling till late in the evening while tailors on site at the store stayed busy doing last minute alterations. Anam Khan, 25, who was picking out a Karma ensemble for Eid said: “Thanks to stores like these, we don’t need to visit tailors and fabric sellers anymore. It’s such a relief.” On her way out, Anam also stopped at the bangles and mehndi stalls to pick out matching glass bangles for herself.
