KARACHI: The Original Crepe Factory was proud to be a part of the 4th LADIESFUND® Women’s Awards recently held at Mohatta Palace Museum. The Original Crepe Factory, which is Pakistan’s only authentic French Creperie, is a huge supporter of women entrepreneurship and was delighted to be affiliated with this event.
“The Original Crepe Factory is extremely active in women’s colleges and universities and we were very excited to be a part of this event,” said Asif Iqbal Sheikh, Chief Operating Officer of The Original Crepe Factory.
For the 4th LADIESFUND® Women’s Awards, The Original Crepe Factory put up a crepe station and served a variety of sweet crepes ranging from Belgian chocolate crepes to Nutella crepes and other chocolate crepes. The crepe station was a huge hit with all the attendees of the 4th LADIESFUND® Women’s Awards with women raving about the freshly made crepes.
The Original Crepe Factory is currently operating from two locations in Karachi: Their flagship store is located at 20-C, 10th Commercial Street, Off Khyaban-e-Shamsheer and The Original Crepe Factory also operates out of a kiosk at Port Grande.In recognition of the impact women have on the economy of Pakistan, the 4th LADIESFUND® Women’s Awards were held on the lawns of the Mohatta Palace Museum on Thursday. Among others, the Awards ceremony honoured the world’s youngest certified Microsoft professional Arfa Karim (posthumously) and the Academy Award-winning documentarian Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
Earlier this month, The Original Crepe Factory introduced a new crepe titled the “Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy crepes” to mark Pakistan winning its first Oscar award.
