The charismatic personality of Quaid-e-Azam, be it in the form of a lawyer, Congressman, a politician, a philosopher or a diplomat is such that it will always be remembered not just by the Muslims living in Pakistan but every person all around the world. The admirable person, Quaid-e-Azam made an incredible impact by his selfless efforts and persistent devotion to get a free homeland for his people. With dire grief and ultimate desperation for the longer life of this man, 11th September is taken as the death anniversary of the founder of Pakistan.
With the completion of his ultimate mission, Quaid-e-Azam told the Pakistani nation with a sense of divine satisfaction in his last message on 14th August 1948 that, “ I have laid the foundation of your State but it is now up to you to build it and that too quickly and as well as you all can.”
Quaid-e-Azam accomplished the task of getting Pakistan by taking the lead himself. As Quaid struggled himself to death, Richard Simons thought it was necessary to mention the fact that Quaid’s contribution was more than anybody else for Pakistan’s survival. At another place, the former Secretary of the State of India declared proudly which is a reputable remark for the founder of Pakistan that, “Gandhi died by the hands of an assassin; whereas Mohammed Ali Jinnah died due to his devotion to Pakistan.”
Quaid had always fought for the innate rights of the people throughout his lifetime and also had the courage to take up an unconventional approach but in return like every great leader, he had to face violence and extremism to fulfill his mission. It is somewhat outstanding that Jinnah was the beneficiary of some of the utmost tributes that are paid to anyone in modern times. Even today the Pakistani soldiers pay tribute by saluting him the legendary man of all times inside the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah that is located in Karachi. This is observed on every death anniversary. The death of Quaid-e-Azam in September 1948 was a great loss to the Muslims living in Pakistan.
All the Muslims living in Pakistan should observe silence on the death anniversary of Jinnah and educate the upcoming generation through popular media to follow their founder’s influential dreams and work on improving their country’s constantly deteriorating condition.
