How Bollywood Showstoppers lit up the Ramp at India Couture Week 2018

One of the most watched runways in India, India Couture Week had an exquisite start this time around. With Bollywood beauties turning showstoppers for some of the top designers of the country, there was no shortage of glamour on the ramp.

Wearing a gold embellished lehenga by the designer duo, Khan actually left us spellbound.

The plunging neckline outfit was teamed with a semi-sheer dupatta that had the duo’s signature feather twist incorporated in it.

Day 1 of India Couture Week 2018, which took place on July 25 at the Taj Palace in New Delhi, saw Kangana Ranaut walking the runway for designer Anju Modi.

Ranaut was clad in a beige lehenga with a touch of golden sheen and the voluminous ensemble was styled with a longline velvet jacket in maroon that gave it a regal touch. 

 

Hydari symbolised the modern Indian bride, who has an individual style of her own. The lehenga had all the elements of luxury incorporated in it along with a touch of contemporary fashion. 

She wore a heavily embellished, off-shoulder lehenga featuring a semi-sheer, cape-styled dupatta with a long train. Her outfit further had floral embroidery all over it with fringes on the hemline. The traditional style choker from Shri Paramani’s Heritage collection complemented her ensemble.
